Mission and Vision

Container Terminal Doesburg stands for more sustainable container transport from the ports of Rotterdam and Antwerp to the European hinterland. As a company, we have been working on energy transition and sustainability for a long time. We consider the environment important and believe that the product inland shipping reduces traffic congestion on the road.

Logistics Valley

Container Terminal Doesburg is part of Logistics Valley de Liemers-Achterhoek and works regionally with other Gelderland container terminals to promote multimodality: combining water, road and rail.

Logistics Valley is the Gelderland transport corridor to and from the European hinterland, stretching from Genoa to Duisburg. Besides excellent roads and rail tracks, it also has the Waal (Rhine) and IJssel as transport arteries.

Transport Corridor

Doesburg is extremely strategically located and is at the center of the North Sea - Baltic Corridor and Rhine - Alpine Corridor, surrounded by waterways, highways and railways. Class IV & Va ships

With a quay of 120 m long, Container Terminal Doesburg is suitable for Class IV (86 m. X 9.5 m., 81 TEU) and Class Va (110 m. X 11.4 m., 200 TEU) ships.

25.000 TEU in 2020

Container Terminal Doesburg B.V. has grown considerably in numbers since being operational and transported more than 25,000 TEU in 2020.

Highest Security

The terminal has 50 dome cameras, 7 LPR license plate registration cameras, 4 speed gates and applies strict entry and exit controls.

Daily Departures

There are daily departures to and from Rotterdam and Antwerp. This makes it an excellent alternative to road transport.
